From 2011-2015, May saw the highest level of contracts signed with 5,780. It was a close 2nd for June with 5,750 contracts signed over the five year period (although, June did see a particularly high volume in 2014 with 1,405 contracts signed as compared to an average near 1,100 for all other years analyzed.) 3rd was March at 5,734, and coming in 4th was April with 5,657 contracts signed.
Factoring in likely time on the market along with a 1-2 week due diligence period prior to contract signing, my personal pick for one of the most optimal LISTING timeframes for a property is LATE FEBRUARY THRU LATE MARCH.
